The Centre for Neuroendocrinology is a research-led centre of research excellence within the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand. Comprised of 10 independent laboratories, it is the largest cluster of neuroendocrinology researchers in the Southern Hemisphere, and has particular research strengths in understanding the effects of hormones on the brain and the neural regulation of reproduction, body weight, fluid balance and stress. There is a collaborative approach to research, with major collaborations both within the centre and also internationally, and a focus on cutting edge technologies - providing outstanding training opportunities for postgraduate students and postdoctoral researchers.
