Dr. Aneta Stefanidis is a post-doctoral researcher working in the Department of Physiology Metabolic Neuroscience Group at Monash University, led by Professor Brian Oldfield. Aneta works in pre-clinical obesity related research and has a strong interest in the regulation of brown adipose tissue activity. Most recently, Aneta has been involved in studies investigating the mechanisms underlying the effectiveness of bariatric surgery using a rodent model of the adjustable gastric band.
