Paolo Giacobini obtained his Master in Science in Molecular Biology at the University of Turin, Italy. In 2005, he obtained his Ph.D in Neuroscience. The PhD was a graduate partnership program between the University of Turin and Dr. Susan Wray’s laboratory [National Institute of Health (NIH), Bethesda, USA], where he spent 3 years during his Ph.D. He subsequently came back as a Post-doctoral fellow to the University of Turin for 3 years (Prof. Fasolo’s lab). Since 2008, he is a tenured Inserm Research Scientist at the JPARC Center, University of Lille2, France, Team “Development and Plasticity of the Postnatal Brain”.
