Valery Grinevich obtained MD degree in 1992 (State Medical University, Kursk, Russia) and PhD degree in 1996 (Sechenov Institute of Evolutionary Physiology and Biochemistry, Russian Academy of Sciences, Saint-Petersburg, Russia). He worked as postdoc in the Laval University with Prof. George Pelletier, NICHD/NIH with Dr. Greti Aguilera and Max Planck Institute for Medical Research with Prof. Peter H. Seeburg. Presently he is a Group Leader at the German Cancer Research Center and University of Heidelberg. Research interest: the functional role of neuropeptides in mammalian brain.
