Dr. Nancy Wayne is Professor of Physiology at the David Geffen School of Medicine and Associate Vice Chancellor for Research at University of California-Los Angeles. She received her B.A. from Northwestern University, Ph.D. from the University of Michigan, and postdoctoral training from the University of Virginia. Dr. Wayne is the principal investigator of research in the area of reproductive neuroendocrinology. Her laboratory investigates the biology of GnRH neurons in the intact neural network of live fish embryos and the intact adult brain. Dr. Wayne is also a dedicated educator, receiving the School of Medicine’s 2010 Excellence in Education Award.
